Colmslie Pool 

The Colmslie Pool is regarded as one of the premier swimming locations in Brisbane. Rackley Colmslie has been a prominent competitor in local, state and national swimming.

Colmslie Pool providing a state of the art training facility for swimmers, with an 8 lane heated 50m pool, gym facilities and highly rated squad program. The Colmslie Squad program provides an extensive and supportive squad program developing swimmers to their elite potential.

Zane King

Zane King (Head Coach - Colmslie)

Zane has been the head coach of Colmslie pool since 2011, coaching silver and gold squads, as well as overseeing all other squads and coaching staff. Zane was a Member of the Australian Swim Team from 1995 to 2000. During this time he held an Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship. 

Zane currently holds a Silver Coaching License and has and continues to coach multiple State and National medal winners and champions. He has also been selected to coach on multiple State and National swim teams.

Rebecca King

Rebecca King (Junior Development Coach - Colmslie)

Bec is the Junior Development Coach at Colmslie working with competitive swimmers aged 10-14 years. Bec has recently taken on a career in coaching after 15 years in aquatic centre customer service and management. 

As a swimmer Bec (aka Rebecca Brown) was a Member of Australian Swim Team for 8 years (1992-2000).  During this time she achieved much success including being the World Record Holder for 200m Breaststroke 1994-1999 and World Short Course Champion in 2000.  She achieved 2 Silver Medals in the 1994 Commonwealth Games 1994 and represented Australia in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.  Her motivation to start coaching is to use her swimming knowledge to help and develop younger swimmers. 

Club nights at Colmslie are about building team spirit – the focus is on enjoyment and connection with their team mates. It will involve activities in and out of the pool including diving, relays and team challenges. The criteria for success is the smile on the swimmers faces as they leave. We look forward to your involvement and feedback on how we make it a great experience for all our swimmers regardless of their level.

All squad fees are payable via Direct Debit on a fortnighly basis. Swimmers will be issued with a scan card that must be presented to reception at each visit. Swimmers are able to access as many sessions per week that are available for their level. Click here to read full T&Cs

PLEASE NOTE: The fees for Squads are calculated based on an annual amount spread across fortnightly payments. The amount takes into account expected breaks/holiday periods for swimmers and coaches eg. Xmas- New Year and breaks after a major competition and during these times fortnightly fees continue as normal. This enables Rackley to maintain an experienced and quality coaching team.

Family breaks/holidays - if your swimmer is taking a break/holiday of more than 3 weeks (or in case of injury) please contact pool reception staff to organise a payment suspension for the period you are away (noting that on return your time/day for squads may vary depending on availability).
Cancellations – If you decide to stop squad training and/or move to another program please ensure you communicate with your coach so they understand your reasons and can help address any concerns AND communicate in writing 7 days in advance of your next debit.
