Club Structure.

Rackley swim team is the competitive arm of our squad program. The club incorporates swimmers from all eight of our Brisbane pool locations, Centenary (Spring Hill), Chermside, Colsmlie, Hibiscus (Mt Gravatt), Logan West, Parkinson, and Runcorn.

Given the size and spread of our pools our club committee structure has been designed to ensure club community can flourish at the pool site whilst participation in regional, State and national events enjoy the benefits of being part of a large club.  The committee structure includes an executive committee which focuses on club strategy and Membership wide matters. Local subcommittees at pool or in some case a cluster of pools oversee a local program of events and activities, this includes fundraising, club night coordination and social events.  Current executive committee members are listed below.

CLUB Philosophy

Rackley Swim Team is driven by the guiding principal "Coach Led - Swimmer Focused - Community Supported". These principals are used at committee and site level to drive decisions that are consistent with the program being driven and delivered by coaching team, ensuring that swimmers are the primary consideration and beneficiaries of club efforts and initiatives.  We can only achieve this with active parent and community support and involvement in club activities and encourage all our families to get involved in any way they can see parent involvement section below.
